Using the Layout Editing view

The Layout Editing view in the Movie Viewer window offers a visual editing environment for your QuickTime movies. This view lets you edit and manipulate your movie tracks in a visual, two-dimensional manner. Although it's essential to have the capability to enter numerical coordinates (as you do in the inspectors), it's much easier to control the different movie tracks in the Movie Viewer window by physically moving them. The Layout Editing view also provides a way to skew the movie track (stretch it into a parallelogram-like shape) or rotate it (turn it in any direction) to create some very interesting visual effects.
